Contract For Sale

The advertising of products on the site is the way in which we are able to display all the items available to buy through the site. We aim to keep items in stock at all times but due to the very nature of fashion products we make these and import or they are hand-made which means that it is inevitable there will be breaks in supply in which case some lines will be 'not available' or disabled at the time you choose the item.

However, on rare ocassions, stock levels may be incorrect and you will be contacted. That means your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and The Georgian Window / Norman Longstaff Fashion Accessories so prices and stock availability won't be contractually confirmed until you receive the 'confirmation of despatch' email sent once your order has been successfully picked and we can confirm stock levels have been checked.

Prices and stock are not contractually confirmed until you receive the confirmation of despatch sent to the email account provided by you. We reserve the right to withdraw from sale any items that have been priced up incorrectly. Any contracts or agreements formed between yourself and Georgian Window through this website shall be governed and construed according to English law and any disputes or proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by Georgian Window on the site, which we may make from time to time. Making A Purchase

When you make a purchase from The Georgian Window// Norman Longstaff Fashion Accessories

  • You will receive an electronic confirmation upon receipt of your order as soon as your order has been received (unless your order has been made over the telephone)
  • You will receive notification of despatch usually within 1-3 working days of your order being processed. Mon-Friday Office hours

It should not be possible to order any item that is not in stock. You can only place items in your basket that are currently in stock meaning that you can shop with confidence that the items that you have chosen will be with you within a few days. The Georgian Window/ Norman Longstaff Fashion Accessories would like you to shop in the knowledge that you are getting the best products at the very best cost. Our pricing will always be below shop pricing and will always represent the very best value available. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT. We invite purchases from overseas and the postage and packaging charges are all outlined within Delivery Info. All prices are displayed in pounds sterling only (GBP). Your credit card company will charge you in your countrys currency at that days exchange rate. Local charges are not the responsibility of The Georgian Window/Norman Longstaff Fashion Accessories.

Returns

If the items you have ordered are unsuitable you must inform us within 7 days of receipt. Email our customer service on returns@georgianwindow.co.uk detailing your Authorization No. and the item you wish to return and we will issue you with a Returns Number. Write the returns number on the despatch note found on the outside of the parcel, replace the item in the parcel and send back to us at the address below. We will then be happy to make a refund/exchange providing the items are returned complete, in perfect condition and in their original packaging within 7 days of receiving your returns number. Items returned outside these guidelines will only be subject to credit. A refund will not be possible if the item/items arrive damaged as a result of the original packaging not being used, in these cases the item/s will be returned to you. Under no circumstance are we able to accept the return of earrings, body jewellery or hair products in compliance with current Health & Hygiene regulations also earrings cannot be returned. We will not also be able to refund any item that has been ordered outside our current range also earrings cannot be returned for health and safety reasons. This does not affect your statutory rights.

For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the item/s to us. When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. Upon receipt of items returned as faulty, Georgian Window will arrange for an exchange. Georgian Window decision is final.

Refunds

Any refunds due will be processed back onto the original credit/debit card used for payment usually within 14 working days.

Privacy Policy

The Georgian Window comply with all aspects of the Data Protection Act of 1984 and the new act of 1998 and as such are registered with the Data Protection Commissioner. We do not disclose details of our customers to any third party.
